Cosa puoi mangiare a Pitigliano? What can you eat in Pitigliano?°

Laura | 26 settembre 2017 | travel in Italy | Nessun commento

Incredibile!

I’ m always surprised by the many panoramas and the different holidays that Tuscany can offer

Any kind of holiday you want to have here it is possible – from the sea, to the art cities, hills, countryside , mountain. That’s Amazing!

 pitigliano

I have discovered an amazing village on the hills where there is the tuff area

 pitigliano

This village is Pitigliano.

When you arrive from Sr74 it appears suddenly – that is the only road that arrive here , believe me.

 pitigliano

When I have seen it, I was astonished.
It seems appeared suddenly and it was so beautiful!

Molto golosi!

This village has an area that was dedicated to the Jewish community.
This area is called the little Jerusalem.

Today many shops sell the products linked with the Jewish tradition.
An example? There is a nice pastry shop that cook some traditional cookies called sfratti

Yummy! They are made by almonds, nuts, honey and they are stick shaped

A Pitigliano ho mangiato bene in generale e bevuto altrettanto bene.

I have eaten and drunk very well in this village.
What surprised me was that a bottle of Morellino di Scansano wine – a quality wine- cost form 10 to 20 euros at the restaurant.
It is not expensive

I love a kind of appetizer made by bread and ragu of meat.
Each slice of bread has a different ragu with a different meat .
I have also taste the ragù made with pigeon.
If I have to be honest with you If I had known that it was pigeon I would never have eaten it but,  it would be a pity!
It is very tasty!

food

One more very tasty dish I have eaten is pasta with ragù made with board meat. So delicious!

In addition the dumpllings at truffle

food

The Tuscany has a kind of food that justify the presence of a quality red wine on your table .
if I like to eat, in this place I love much more! You can find quality wine and tasty food . What  you can ask more?

assaggi di formaggi
